Property is close to the main bar areas so perfect for a group of friends if you are looking for entertainment. Very close to the train station just outside the property.
This is a very special place - it combines hotel facilities with an old people's home, to everyone's benefit. The facilities are great (kids loved the swimming pool), the rooms are big and spacious. The hotel is located next to one of the most amazing zoos in Europe and next to a metro station, so you can be in city centre in 15 minutes. The breakfast buffet was fine as well, as was the restaurant.
It is a very classical hotel, very classy and well-decorated. Breakfast was super. Swimming pool was very nice, and also the sauna. We appreciated to have a coffe machine at the room. A Waldorf-Astoria sensation! Staff super helpful
The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was clean, a good size and in good working order.
The staff were lovely, they had an offer on breakfast which we weren't in a position to accept but it sounded great! €10 euros each for buffet breakfast.
The location is perfect for the local area. You're on the Reeperbahn giving access to the entertainment district. St Pauli has it's own amazing charm. Hamburg is either a 20 minute walk away or a short ride on the S Bahn which has a station on Reeperbahn.
The room was a lot bigger than expected and had a kitchen if needed. We just used the fridge. The swimming pool was nice and warm and when I went didn't have anyone in it. The staff where lovely and helpful. The hotel was a short walk to all the attractions and christmas markets so we didn't have to use any public transport.
The inside was alright, parking space was decent(if you Find it) breakfast was worth it, coffee not so much, room was clean and comfortable. It supposedly has a swimming pool or something, but due to the delay caused by not finding the parking space i was not able to use this facility.
The hotel is located in the prime area of Hamburg with good facilities like swimming pool and gym and rooms are spacious staff are very friendly always.
