Featuring quiet street views, Amberlea Cottages features accommodation with balcony, around 1.1 km from Hokitika Beach. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday home offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It was 4 small family maintained units. We stayed only one night as were passing through to Queenstown. The hosts were very friendly. We left behind our son's bag. The villa offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. This is quite simply one of the most fantastic places I have ever stayed. Harold House has been restored to immaculate condition. When we arrived, we spent ages simply wandering around marvelling at these gorgeous, well-appointed rooms and all the fascinating heritage features and items. The location is very convenient in Reefton township, but also quiet. If you are visiting the West Coast, I highly recommend staying here; we wished we had booked longer—in terms of accommodation, it was the best of our entire road trip around the South Island.

The bed was super comfy to rest and sleep on and the quality of the linen was nice to sleep in. The breakfast options are world class. All delivered in gorgeous glass containers with descriptive hand written labels. The caravan was solid as and yet super airy with big glass areas to make it feel big. The section is superb with lots of lawn space to give you space!!
