The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.

This recently renovated holiday home is located 700 metres from Arthur's Pass Train Station and 1.8 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls. The property is non-smoking and is set 5.3 km from Temple Basin. The location and parking are very convenient. The apartment space and four rooms are very suitable for us. All the things in the kitchen are enough for us. Besides, the shower is very comfortable. We enjoy to stay here very much.

The views! We’ve traveled to 65 countries and never fell in love with a home so deeply like this one. The design, the warmth, the views of lake tekapo, the night sky, the cleanliness, convenience, area, ease of access. It’s huge! 3 bedrooms! We were four but it could have easily fit 8. The rooms were clean and at the level of a hotel. There were mini bags of laundry detergent, make up removing wipes - so many thoughtful little touches that the couple Jen & Hamish set out for their guests. We had NZ staple snack set aside for us upon arrival. Jen and Hamish are the best hosts ever, I actually met them and asked them if they would do another as we just loved the home. It gets booked out fast, so if in tekapo, I wouldn’t wait to book it.

This is a delightful apartment in a lovely cottage It feels like a proper home, decorated by someone with an eye for detail and a flair for homely interior design. Lots of small but very well thought through useful details, like the movement sensitive lighting through the kitchen to direct you to the bathroom in the night. Everything we needed for our overnight stay was provided. The beds were big and comfortable, lovely sitting areas inside and out and an attractive front garden. It was easy to find and there was no problem with parking. We would have enjoyed staying longer if our schedule had allowed. The owner was easy to contact and very helpful.

The vacation home features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. This place is perfect. I didnt want to leave. Fortunate to be the only one there during my stay so I have no one to share the bathroom shower and kitchen with. Fantastic place.
