The house is perfect- very well appointed. Great kitchen, beds and bathrooms. Lovely views even when it was raining. Very well located for Stromness, Kirkwall and the world heritage sites we wanted to see.

Very clean rooms. The kitchen / common room was very spacious and had all the appliances you would ever want to use. The host was very friendly and helpful. Close to supermarkets so it is quite convenient to buy breakfast or cook yourself.

I was there for 3 nights and had plans for the days so I never had breakfast. The host was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was also spotless. The shower was excellent, wanted to bring it home :)

It is very central and only a few minutes walking distance from the harbour. The rooms were very clean.
The chalet was bright and welcoming and very clean. It was good to be greeted by a member of staff the day after our arrival to make sure we were ok. We enjoyed the view of the Churchill barriers and Italian Chapel and being able to bird watch from the window. It is quite close to Kirkwall and we can recommend the ice-cream shop next to the cathedral! It's a good idea to book ferries for day trips to other islands before you begin your holiday as they get booked up very quickly.
Everything was excellent. Host fabulous, accommodation comfortable and very clean, fabulous breakfast. Will definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.

Self catering. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. Shona had left us a welcome tray and milk and eggs as well as fresh flowers. The cottage was very cosy and well furnished. It contained everything we needed. We have rented holiday cottages often in the past and Bachylis is one that we particularly enjoyed. . .
