The gite was well looked after and had everything we needed as a family with two young children. It is on a quiet road in a small village, only a few miles from Chinon and Azay, making it easy to get around by car, with convenient street parking immediately outside. Thierry's wine business next door made it easy both to communicate with our hosts and buy good local wine.

Every possible item wanted by travellers was on hand including a washer and dryer. Roselyne, the owner, greeted you on arrival and offered food like bread, butter, croissants etc for guests. She was a marvellous hostess and I would absolutely commend her apartment as a home away from home in Amboise.
