The panoramic views were stunning and the immediate area was special, as were the personal touches around the house.
The hosts were communicative and made it clear how to find our way there.
If you need a shop, Macelleria Pennino Como is well stocked and the owners were charming. Peppo's Bar is there if you want some lunch or aperitivo.
There's a bus stop right at the foot of the road by the shop, so all very convenient.
Situated in Como, 1.7 km from Broletto, Villa Platamone has a number of amenities including free bikes, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre.

Such a sweet holiday home, with the nicest views ever! Breathtaking.
The facilities were amazing, everything we needed for breaky, lunch and dinner :)
The fire burner was a very lovely touch making it feel like home XD.
But most of all Michaela the owner of the property was the sweetest woman, she was extremely hospitable, going above and beyond for her guests. The breakfast was perfect we loved the homemade croissants! Best stay, would definitely come again :)

The location was beautiful and very peaceful. Good access to the more popular places around Lake Como such as Lecco, Como and Bellagio. Parking spaces were close by and always available. The apartment had everything you need for your stay. Comfortable bed. Breakfast consisted of eggs, cheese, cold meets, breads, jams and snacks. The host Mara was friendly and attentive via WhatsApp. The baked cake was a welcoming gesture.

We have been changing the arrival time and texted Cinzia 1 hour before arrival and when we arrived at the car park around the corner, Cinzia came personally to the car park to welcome us.
The maisonette apartment is perfect for the two of us, it’s amazing beautiful and full of Cinzia’s great taste with very treasurable antique items. It’s fully equipped with everything you need for a week or so, so as it’s kitchen. Cinzia also gave us great tips eating and exploring around the village.
The absolute highlight is their private farm/beach/garden, absolutely stunning, figs, lemon, orange, pepper trees, just to make a few; you just get to swim in Lake Como with it all to yourself. It’s 20mins walk from the apartment but it worths it!
We might stay at Cinzia‘s cottages in the garden or other apartments/house next time. Very much looking forward to return to this magical place, and nicest and most hospitable people! thank you so much Cinzia!

We really liked the apartment. It was comfortable, had nearby parking, air conditioning and a wonderful host. I loved the gate on the stairs - very important when you have young children. We used the washing machine and it was an added bonus to the apartment.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The apartment is very cozy, with a great view from the terrace. Everything you could possibly need is there. Although there is no air conditioning, it's cool inside maybe because of the thick walls. Everything is very clean, the big bed was realy comfortable. We liked everything here.
It might be some problems to reach apartments for someone because of a lot of stairs. It should be self-assessed
Amazing stay at Casa Aurelia, everything was perfect: great help at our arrival from our host Laura, we were struggling to find the place because of extremely bad weather (lots of rain), and we arrived late at night because of the traffic jams from Milan... Anyway Laura went out to reach us in the middle of the night and showed us the location, she gave us tips during our stay, the place itself was beautiful, very big space, nice design, very clean, amazing view on the lake from the bedroom, very calm and beautiful... Thank you so much!! <3
This hotel has incredible views of Lake Como and is right on the water. You get to eat breakfast on the terrace and can jump right into the water from the jetty. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They booked restaurants for us and even helped sort out a parking ticket!
