Very comfortable house in a beautiful peaceful location. Wonderful terraces looking out over kiwi trees to coast and in the other direction Etna. We loved watching the changing smoke over Etna as sun set. The owners met us and we're very kind and helpful. They also left a bottle of their wine produced on the land around. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

The house has an amazing view. It is spacious, beautiful and very clean. The kitchen is lovely and fully equipped, including with oil, vinegar, spices, plastic wrap, dish soap - essentially everything you need to function. The patio is a beautiful place to have breakfast or dinner and the tables and sitting area have large umbrellas to raise when the sun is high. We were sad not to be able to use the grill because we were not there long enough, but the grill is useable and they have charcoal available for use, The washing machine does not also dry the clothes, as some European machines do, but there is a close line on the patio. Finally, the hosts are gracious and friendly. Alfio brought us pastries the morning after we arrived so we could enjoy a traditional Sicilian breakfast. He also gave us an Etna Maies magnet as a memento. That, in addition to the fruit basket, bread and milk that they provided made this a wonderful place for a complete stay near many important Etna wineries.

Perfect location,with stunning views. Loads of parking. WiFi was fast. Heating and aircon worked incredibly well. Felt safe in the area travelling alone. Lovely hot shower. Kitchen well stocked. Our stay was middle of August, when it is extremely hot, so we knew, we wanted to be close to Etna as to have possibility of fresher evenings, which was true for this space. The place itself was very good, it was convenient to park the car inside the property grounds, the property itself is a combination of several units using common shared external area/the small pool. The pool water was very fresh in contrast to the heat during the day. We stayed at the top floor apartment, which had an insect net on one of the larger windows, providing an inlet of fresh air on ongoing basis. The place overlooks green area and it is quiet overall. We also managed to find a supermarket open in Zafferana when most of other supermarkets and shops were closed due to national holidays. It is convenient place to explore Etna, but one needs to have a car to fully appreciate the advantages of this location.
