A truly exceptional cottage.
A great location on the outskirts of Hveragerði (about 15 minutes walk to the centre), which is a great base for exploring southern Iceland.
Clean and well presented.
Very well equipped - all the big things as listed washer/dryer/dishwasher/TV/wifi/hot-tub/etc - but also little things like fresh flowers, a bowl of fruit, biscuits, and kitchen stocked with basics like herbs, oil, salt, dishwasher tablets, cling film, etc
(Despite appearing close to the route 1 road on the map, there was no noise from the road).
The owner was friendly and responsive (we ran out of gas, and she was there within an hour to replace it).

Amazing hospitality, very cozy and beautiful house! Immediately after booking, the owner sent us a message with all the necessary information about the house, the area, and Iceland. Everything was very nice and well decorated. The contact went very well and quickly. Highly recommended to stay here when you go to Iceland. From the accommodation you can drive in many directions to make beautiful day trips.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Modern and nice accommodation which had everything we needed. nice and clean bathroom, the room was also very clean and the beds were comfortable. It had only paper cups at hand (with complementary coffee, creamer, sugar and tea) but better than nothing :)

The rooms were very nice, big enough, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was very modern and also very clean. No keys required, all you need is a code. The location is very convinient, a good restaurant nearby, a gas station with a manual car wash. We enjoyed our stay very much!
The house was very clean, open plan, arty and had all amenities one can ask for: clean sheets, lots of towels, comfy beds, good washing machine and dryer. The best coffee machine ever and a fully equipped kitchen. There’s a beautiful garden and even sea view. Everything was explained very well! We loved our stay!
The Stay was comfortable with not much to talk about in terms of above and beyond. If your are looking for somewhere in the south that is cheap and willl give you a good bed this is it. Nothing more though. It was definitely very clean and had a very easy check in process with great amenities available.
