This was the first time for us, when the owner of the apartment would be so friendly and helpful - she helped us not only with accomodation, but also with other issues that we've had, gave us recommendations what to visit, since this was the first time that we were in Croatia. One of the best houses we ever stayed in. When we arrived, Josip made us feel very welcomed and the house and swimming pool were spotless. The house looked exactly like the pictures and had a very homely feeling. The views towards the mountains are spectacular and the sunset was so beautiful. We drove to makarska almost every to shop (Tommy at Spot mall) and have lunch - it was perfect and a short drive away.

It was jus great. Owners are super nice, welcome meal plus one supper they made for us were just awesome. For us it was work and vacation in one. We were working and kids were playing. Pool is great. Area is great - close to the sea, close to blue lake, close to rafting.

Villa Bartul: we liked everything there - a quiet, secluded place overlooking the Biokovo mountain range. This is an ideal picturesque place for everyone: families with children (big green courtyard), an adult company (great barbecue area). And excellent for everyone: a great, clean, well-kept swimming-pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. We were surprised by the new tennis (Ping-Pong) table with rackets and balls for the game, equipment for children and much more, which the owners do not state in the description of the house)) We went to the Baska Voda beach - 12 minutes by car on a new road through a tunnel in the mountain - conveniently and quickly. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay and relaxation: everything works and is in excellent condition. The huge garage serves not only as a cool place to store your car. There are additional (to those that are already in the house!) refrigerator and freezer, an additional kitchen and a shower room. One more amazing benefit of this villa is it’s owners: Jurica and Ivanka, and their daughters Matea and Katarina. Incredibly nice, outgoing, unostentatious and helpful people. Be sure, these people will help you with any question and problem that you may have (and we had to check it by ourselves). We were treated with traditional baked meat (cooked by Ivanka) with rakia and wine;), dessert with pancakes and cookies. We tried delicious grilled fish (cooked by Ivanka))). While staying at this villa, we got a little "all inclusive" and even more;) We highly recommend Villa Bartul for your vacation (either you are a company with children or only adults) and we ourselves hope to visit it again!
