Amazing location amazing views pristine room wow

The house is placed on a countryside area and many parts of the island are like that. So coming from town, the asphalt stops at one point, but it is no problem reaching the destination. The property is great, with a few places to sit outside and plenty of space inside, we can consider it actually as two separate houses one on top of the other, each with one bedroom, one living room, kitchen and bathroom. The entrances are completely separate and there is no relation (communication) between the two through the inside. The top house has got a wide terrace facing the sea and the morning sun. In the top house there is something like a very small attic where 2 beds are installed, but the acces is on a removable ladder and the available height is there very limited. It can be used by children, but not too little I would say, thinking of safety reasons climbing up and down the ladder... Each living room had at least one sofa bed, we didn't try them, as we were 4 persons, but they looked reliable. Inside we could find small details in decorations quite interesting, For example, there was an old time small reading bed next to the window... Around the house we could find another terrace next to a barbeque place. The top kitchen had a dishwashing machine, the bottom bathroom had a laundry washing machine. As more then half of our stay was during the Daniel Storm, at least one complete day we spent in the villa, and we didn't feel anything missing. We cooked, ate... etc. In the same time the Skiathos town faced floods, electricity blackouts, but we had no problems, except the WIFI disappeared when the storm intensified and never came back.

The villas are beautiful well maintained clean and tidy The furnishings are lovely and comfortable with stunning views. Built in a rural setting this gives you peace and tranquility and your own space to do as you like With little light pollution the view of the stars at night is exceptional. Getting around the island is easy There are regular mini buses going to the monastery and you only have to walk to the gates of the property and wave at the driver It costs 2 euros to get into town and 10 by taxi You can hire a bike car or buggy but it is not essential The facilities at the property were really great There is a fully fitted kitchen dining table and chairs fridge freezer 2 bathrooms with hairdryers straighteners washing machine iron and board double bed 2 single beds downstairs a lovely soft leather sofa and tables and chairs for sitting out front and back and a clothes airer The cleaning is done daily with lovely fresh towels too I cannot fault this fabulous villa The owner was fantastic both thoughtful kind and helpful. She even offered to get any bottles of water or heavy shopping for us Water is essential as you cannot drink tap water on the island but we did a taxi shopping trip to the large supermarket in Skiathos town so no problems at all. When we left the owner brought us a little gift and said goodbye to us and she was so kind and thoughtful

Great location!

The house is very well located on a quiet side street but yet a few steps from the main street and city center, and 10min walk from the old port from where you can take various boat trips. There is also free public parking 5 min from there. The house is equipped with everything you need and you can fully rely on Tania and Kostas who are very responsive and ready to help with everything you might need during your stay (including renting a car and airport transfer) Overall, we really enjoy our stay in Olive Green House.
