My husband and I stayed wonderful ten nights in this amazing and luxury Villa no. 2. It‘s just incredible what Mrs. Kitsa, the owner of the house, created. You can tell how much heart she spent into the Villas, to take care of every corner of the buildings and she has absolutely an eye for every detail. Beside the fact that the Villa is well equipped with for example a toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pans, glasses, washing machine, BBQ etc., she also makes sure that you have everything you might need for the first days. To be honest, I didn’t expect to find tabs for the dishwasher or the washing machine, salt, pepper, olive oil, shower gel plus shampoo and a few other nice things for your personal convenience. AMAZING!!! Never had this thoughtful preparation before!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Also I would like to point out how wonderful the people are in the area. You can find an amazing small supermarket in Sivas. From the outside it looks almost too small, but when you enter, you can find everything you need on two floors. No reason to support big supermarkets, if you can have this kind of quality! 😊 Eleni, the owner, is happy to assist you in any question you might have and offers also vegetables from the farm of her husband. Therefore, the quality is just fantastic, fresh and with an amazing taste!!! In addition I would like to mention the butcher in Sivas, close to the supermarket, where you can buy super tasty chicken, lamb, honey and olive oil. Which means, we were having an fantastic BBQ with local products in the Villa with the most incredible view you can have!!! …. ups…. and before I will forget to mention, you should have an aperitif at Manolos Bar, just a few steps away from the Villa and have a look inside. You will love it!!! ❤️ Thank you, Mrs. Kitsa, for making our stay an memorable one!!! ❤️🥰

An old traditional house completely renovated and with all modern facilities ( AC, washing machine, big frige with freezer, stovetop, oven), spotlessly clean. Here, you will find all you need: a very quiet location in a short distance from taverns, a good point to start exploring South Crete beaches, a charming and very comfortable accomodation with amazing sea view. The hosts are friendly and very discreet. We had a very good comunication with Eirini, she gives us information about main attractions of the area. Thank you Eirini, we would like to stay again if we come in the area!

Unique view and privacy. The house is absolutely secluded on the hill, with incredible view - sea, mountains (Psiloritis included) and the plateau of Messara with its villages and olive grooves. The house is beautifully constructed of stone and there is large, fenced space around - easy to park a car (or more than one). Large, deep pool with all this fantastic view. Very friendly dogs on the neighbouring plot (property of the same owners).

Lovely peaceful spot . lots of privacy, beautiful views. Interesting house and reasonable sized pool. Friendly, well behaved cats ( part of the Cretan experience)but don't feed them if you're not keen on their company

Halkidio House is lovely - it looks to be an old house that has been fully modernised and well decorated. We had no problems with the WiFi - it all worked perfectly, The air conditioning was great - we gave it a blast when it got a bit hot. We took a dip in the pool every morning and then took a cup of tea on to the roof-top to warm up and admire the amazing views. The BBQ area on the ground floor was clean and well equipped. The gated parking space was definitely an added bonus - easy to park the car and load/unload after a beach day. Great location for visiting the area - a very short distance to Matala and other beaches and sights. Lots of places to eat within walking distance, if you don't want to drive. Fantasic hosts with helpful and very friendly communication.

The owner Georgia and her mother were extremely kind and helpful during our stay. We were welcomed with a self made cake, fruits and water in the fridge which was great! The house is very beautiful and secluded from other buildings, with very nice balconies and well equipped kitchen with everything you might need for cooking. Wifi was very fast and the air conditioners worked very well in the hot weather in August. Modern bathroom with a new washing machine. I definitely recommend this house to everyone who wants a peaceful vacation in the region of Matala. Much better option than the noisy Matala town and you have privacy. Thank you!!

Charming, homely, house where all of our needs were seen to. Contact with the owner was friendly and prompt. Sivas is a beautiful village with great access to small stores, tavernas, and sight seeing in the wider plain area.
