Literally all aspects of my visit in Samos, which was just 2 days, were just what I needed. When I arrived to The Holiday Oasis I was greeted by the lovely host Nadia who welcomed and treated me like a friend during my stay. I was travelling alone and this was my first time in Greece. Nadia happily supported me with more than I would ever expect to recieve from renting a little apartment. She surprised me with an incredible breakfast free of charge when I was leaving early in the morning and she always answered any questions I had throughout my stay, and naturally did her best to make me feel at home and comfortable by just being her lovely self. Her kind husband was driving me to/from the beach, to/from the ferry and to the airport on my day of departure! The apartment is beautiful, with an outside veranda and your own bathtub/shower. On top of it you have your own rooftop balcony with incredible views of sunrise and overlooking the valley!

We enjoyed our stay at Vaggelitsa’s House very much. We had excellent communication with our hostess, Maria, who answered our inquiries quickly and completely. When you enter from the street, the house has a living room, a bedroom with a double bed, a renovated bathroom with a shower, and a large balcony with a fabulous view over the harbor of Pythagoreion, Samos. When you go down a short but steep set of stairs to the next level, you will find an alcove with a single bed, a large and well-equipped kitchen—even including paper towels and spices--a nicely renovated large bathroom with a washing machine, and a small balcony, where we enjoyed our breakfasts every day. You can make your way to the port and the main street, where you will find a bakery, grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and bars, either down several sets of steps or along the narrow walkway on the street. Parking is available nearby, either on the street—which can be busy during the day—or along the road to the Spiliani Monastery, which is just a short walk from the house. If you can do steps and would like a great view, then this is the place for you to stay in Pythagoreion.
