The house was really close to Cheddar and we were able to do the caves and gorge walk without driving which made the whole experience a lot simpler. The house was beautiful and the folding doors onto the garden were stunning when opened. Everything was easy to find and use. The information provided by the host was really helpful about the local area.

We received a warm welcome on arrival. All the staff were friendly. We booked for an evening meal and were not disappointed again service was impeccable and there was a lovely ambience.

Very welcoming pub with excellent food & drink. The pub has been fairly recently renovated with a fresh decor but no loss of old world charm & atmosphere. Good sized bedroom in annex with comfy bed , very clean. Extra delight the wine tasting evening proved most enjoyable the cheese board very tasty too.
Lovely pub with amazing staff. Very friendly with a warm welcome. Room and en suite were a good size, very clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee and wash products were good quality. Restaurant was faultless with great food and service and a delicious and extensive breakfast. I would definitely recommend a stay here!
