The cottage is flawless, the colour palette beautiful and restful, and everything is immaculate. The bed is easily the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The host left a cream tea for my arrival. It's a great place to base yourself for an active, outdoor holiday where you can yomp the trails all day, then come in for a great shower/bath and a great night's sleep. Loved the Neal's Yard handwash, too. It is touches like this that make somewhere special.

I asked to move rooms due to vibration/noise from kitchen extractor vent and they moved me no problem. The afternoon receptionist was very nice and arranged this. The breakfast room young lady was exceptionally helpful. The room and hotel was very very clean. Location was good for walks from the door. My room was clean, the bed was very comfy , the biscuits were nice.
A truly exceptional place to stay. Cannot fault the facilities or rooms. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. There was nothing we needed which wasn’t provided, and so many extra little touches making too. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful place in an amazing location out on the moor.
Lovely cosy room and very clean.Dinner was superb and there was a wide choice on the menu for breakfast which was also very good. The location was perfect and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were most helpful and pleasant. Although the receptionist was efficient a more welcoming manner would have been appreciated. We would certainly return for another stay.
Breakfast was excellent catering to Pacific taste . Room was very clean and comfortable with lovely views.
