The location was what we wanted. Quiet, in the countryside. The view from the window was idylic, only cows and sheep and a friendly farmer and gorgeous collie Mulley for neighbours. It was lovely to sit out and enjoy the peacefulness.
We were provided with a thoughtful welcome package of food items to keep us happy until we were able to go shopping.
I enjoyed reading the booklet on the rebuilding of this little cottage.

It was really central to everything,clean and had everything we needed
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The bungalow was a really good size and very clean. It had everything you would need and a few we extra bits I was not expecting, tea coffee milk, few games for the kids etc. which was great. It was perfect for our family of 6. There was also a good size back garden, which was safe for my sons to play in. The owner was very lovely and easy to contact as I was looking a few recommendations. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

there is a sitting room but we didn't use it.
There was a dining room / kitchen we go a take away and had it in the dining room.
You could also make cups of tea there - we just used the kettle in the room.
A lovely property, very clean and ideally situated for our visit.
The host was very responsive which made arrival and leaving very easy.
There were also some nice personal touches on arrival with some essentials being left for us and a small treat for our two daughters.
Garden was a great size and would be a fabulous space to be in during the warmer months.

We booked a double room, which is a bit small; there is no space for suitcases. Maybe next time we will book a bigger room. Overall, the place was very clean, with everything we needed. We were let down by not having TV. We were absolutely disappointed, as we spent our 2 evenings on our phones and had nothing to do indoors. It should have been better with even the smallest TV.
