What a great place! The cottage has everything you wish for - and more! (Like a bath!) But we especially loved the views; they’re even better than on the pictures. Beautiful cosy cottage and surroundings, had everything you needed. Owner was very helpful. So many attractions within a reasonable distance. Wish I had taken tennis rackets! Would love to stay again, especially in the Summer and use the pool :)

The location was very close to an area my wife and I had not visited together. We enjoyed trips to Rye, Hastings, Battle Abbey. the Kent and East Sussex Railway to Bodiam Castle, the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway, Camber sands, and Winchelsea. All of these places were within 40 minutes of the property, and most were a great deal less. The accommodation proved to be very comfortable and warm, with access to a paddock so our dog could have a good run in the mornings. Parking was excellent, with easy access from the road. The village has a nearby shop for all essential items.
