Everything was perfect - the best stay we’ve had for a long time. The house was lovely and in a great location - only 10 minutes walk from Aldeburgh but in a quiet road so no traffic noise. There was only two of us so plenty of space and everything was spotless. Lovely shower. Recommend booking dinner well in advance- we booked before our holiday. The Lighthouse restaurant is wonderful.

The key safe was well hidden away but as we are both in our seventies bending low down to the key safe was a problem after a long journey in the car. We have a key safe at home so know how easy they are to work but I had to kneel down to see the numbers and there was a massive hollyhock grabbing me! Once open it was fine but my husband walks with a stick so this could have been a problem for us.

Excellent fresh breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and a very clean, warm and comfortable nights sleep.
It’s in a good location just off the main road and isn’t too noisy.
I had dinner on fish night which was excellent and the chefs clearly know what they’re doing.
Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Bed was super comfy! And we slept really well as it was very quiet. Breakfast was good, and included in the price.
Lovely old building with quant features. The staff were wonderful, attentive and very friendly. We stayed in Room 2 and we loved the beams and uneven floorboards, it added the charm. Room was large as well as the bathroom which was all.very clean and well maintained.

There is a terrible review on here for this property but lots of amazing reviews on airbnb. We stayed and had a fabulous weekend. The wifi is great even if there is no phone signal you can FaceTime/WhatsApp call. It was very clean and the bed was super comfy with high quality linen/towels and we slept like logs. The surroundings are silent countryside. It’s secluded, private and romantic.
