The lodge it’s self was lovely however on the second day our boiler wasn’t working so we contacted the host who couldn’t have been better! we were traveling with a young baby so we’re very worried so she immediately upgraded us to a brand new Barn conversion (the gas bottle had just ran out no boiler issues after investigation by the host) - Primrose - it was absolutely stunning we cannot wait to revisit especially when everything is finished. Wr can’t thank Rebecca enough we really enjoyed our stay:)

For 3 nights the lodge was a great place to stay. It was clean and very comfortable. It was so peaceful and the beds were so comfortable we slept really well. The lodge does need updating but having 2 dogs with us it was ideal considering the weather was so bad. The lounge was comfortable and relaxing and the bonus was having the Hot Tub which was turned on clean and ready to use which we did. The surroundings are lovely, with a garden, table and bbq for the summer months.

Lovely location in central Devon, giving easy access to both north and south coasts and inland attractions. The lodge is a working farm and is very interesting in itself. It is a 'bit off the beaten track', but this makes it a fantastic secluded getaway. The hosts are lovely, friendly and helpful but do not interfere with your stay.
