During our stay it rained continuously, so having access to the gym and spa was fantastic. It was well equipped with both free weights and machines. It was very clean, and the staff were friendly. The staff I met in the hotel were also very friendly, although I felt we had the space to come and go. Our room was spruced up daily.
The river was a lovely backdrop to our stay and was both dramatic and relaxing in equal measure. In terms of location, it was a perfect base for all our trips throughout the week.
Great location, great facilities (pool, gym, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna), great food (free breakfasts - dinner was very tasty).
The rooms were kept very clean.
Excellent little cottages in a lovely setting and very peaceful, the property was well equipped with everything you needed and was very clean and beds were very comfortable.
