The cottage is flawless, the colour palette beautiful and restful, and everything is immaculate. The bed is easily the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The host left a cream tea for my arrival. It's a great place to base yourself for an active, outdoor holiday where you can yomp the trails all day, then come in for a great shower/bath and a great night's sleep. Loved the Neal's Yard handwash, too. It is touches like this that make somewhere special.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Beautiful room, comfy bed and very clean. Nice and warm with a radiator that was easy to use. Breakfast is included (includes either cereal/toast or a full cooked breakfast from a menu) which was delicious. You also have tea, coffee and homemade biscuits provided in the room, and get given a little bottle of fresh milk in the morning. The restaurant downstairs was really tasty and worth going to - our room was still nice and quiet even though right above it. The Castle Inn is right on a bus stop route as well which is helpful.
The location backing onto Dartmoor, huge car park, easy to get to, warm welcome, easy going staff. Adequate rooms, very clean, dated but doesn't matter. Excellent food at excellent prices!
Ease of booking in. Beds were very comfortable, room oldy worldly and very clean. Bathroom had a bath and shower and again very very clean. Evening meal was superb, children's meal available and very good value. We had the Chicken liver Pate for starters which was homemade and the best we have ever tasted, in fact I may have 2 for myself next time! The breakfast was superb, very tasty and filling. All staff very friendly and interactive even though they were very busy in the evening nothing fazed them.. Well done
