Literally everything! Extremely clean spaces, cozy atmosphere, comfortable beds, big rooms, beautiful location, super kind and lovely hosts! If you want to visit either Glasgow or Edinburgh and wish to stay out of the city to enjoy the peace of the Scottish countryside, this is absolutely where you should stay! The cottage is immaculate! So clean and tidy and we were very grateful for the lovely basket of biscuits, milk, cereal, cakes and tea and coffee on arrival after such a long journey! Stunning location, with wonderful hosts.....we will be back!

Loved the location, the castle was stunning. So clean and well stocked.

Hotel is in a lovely quiet location and every bedroom has a river view, good sized bedrooms and bathrooms.
Hotel was very clean, food was lovely and staff a credit to the hotel
We stayed in the Silver Birch room which was comfortable, well furnished and very clean. There was a little outside seating area where we enjoyed a drink in the lovely garden. The area was very quiet and peaceful. Lesley and John were excellent hosts, making us very welcome and providing a delicious breakfast in the separate coach house.
Excellent central location everything within walking distance , very clean room well appointed great hosts and the breakfast well what can we say only wow.
The B&B was easy to find. The room was lovely - very clean, nicely decorated and snug & warm on a chilly March night. The breakfast next day was generous and set me up nicely for a long day. The people I met were welcoming and very hospitable. A great find and if I look forward to staying there again
