With a 4-star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board, The Scottish Equi B&B offers high-quality accommodation on Lanark Racecourse.

The area is ideal for golfing, fishing, walking and cycling holidays, and The Scottish Equi B&B lies beside the pretty Lanark Loch. New Lanark, a restored 18th-century cotton mill village, is a World Heritage Site and around 5 minutes’ drive.

The B&B was easy to find. The room was lovely - very clean, nicely decorated and snug & warm on a chilly March night. The breakfast next day was generous and set me up nicely for a long day. The people I met were welcoming and very hospitable. A great find and if I look forward to staying there again

Easy to find, great location being so close to the livestock Auction Mart where I was attending an event. Very quiet even though close to main road, great parking. Good breakfast choice served by friendly staff. Pleasant clean rooms. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous hosts, food, cleanliness, quality of environment, location, decoration and parking. A and A just cannot do enough for you, this is how every hotel, guest house or bed and breakfast should be run! Loved the proximity to M74! Homely environment, peaceful and quiet, great night’s sleep, a very, very comfortable bed. A gold star environment in every way!

Colin was very welcoming upon arrival. Breakfast was a DIY affair, in the room upon arrival. There was a really good selection of cereals, with porridge an option, croissant, and lots of fresh fruit, and a fridge to keep everything cool, as well as the expected tea making facilities. The room was spacious and the private bathroom had a shower and a bath. Parking was easy, and the location was within easy walking distance of Lanark centre, but off the main road, so quiet.

We had a bathroom and sitting room to use just for us as well as the bedroom. It was very private and Margaret was very friendly, helpful and a great host. There was tea/coffee, fruit and biscuits, fresh milk in a small fridge, a tv and an Alexa provided in the sitting room as well as a wide variety of books and movies.

We had a family room and it was massive with good views out of a multiple aspect! The food was fantastic and drinks were reasonably priced. Make sure you include breakfast when you book as it was much pricier if you didn't. The pool was nice and the gym was good. A great location for exploring the history of the area. Quiet and beautiful, by the waterfalls and lovely walks too.
