The house itself is impressive - spacious, well equipped and clean. There was a welcome package of essential food items and a bowl of fruit which made us feel very welcome on arrival. It is very close to all amenities and Lairg is a beautiful village. Although some of the features (bathroom suite) were a little dated, they were immaculately clean and in good working order.

This place was hands down the cleanest place we've ever stayed, it helps that the place is new and modern but my partner struggled to find anything wrong with the place and she used to clean lodges for a living😆

Fantastic property and location- a real experience of old Scotland. Great food very fresh, breakfast excellent. Staff very efficient and polite. Room was very clean, small point TV not great. Rooms had excellent character and well decorated. Great value for money.
The location was fantastic and the host was very thoughtful - laying out biscuit for us and leaving some fresh milk in the fridge.
The property was very clean and benefited from fantastic scenery as well as some cows/sheep on view from the lounge which my son enjoyed very much.

Location very good, very clean and all the space we needed. The bed a little cramped but we knew that beforehand from previous reviews. It was still comfy. We liked the fact the owner left us to our own devices and didn’t feel the need to welcome us and chat. We were tired after a long day cycling.
It was a peaceful location on the countryside, with animals to admire. The pod was very clean with comfortable beds. I especially liked the fact it was possible to cook. The pod had bathroom ensuite.
The view onto the loch is just stunning and very inviting, though if you are planning on swimming I'd take river shoes to avoid the debris and sharp stones. The pod was very clean, warm and comfortable with good facilities. If I return to the area, I'd definitely stay again.

On Alan’s suggestion I then took ‘shorter’ route to Lochinver. Stunning but slow drive. Area Well worth visit
