Comfy and traditional cottage - quiet and homely. Hazel and Maurice are so nice and clearly put a lot of care into Granny's Cottage. I was here to walk in the hills above neighbouring Berriedale but it would be a good and peaceful base for car-owners to explore the wider area. Exceptionally good value.

Amazing cottage! Really comfy beds with good quality bedding, spotlessly clean. Kitchen has everything you would need - nice quality knives, plates, cookware. We loved our stay. The location is brilliant too for trips around the north east of Scotland. We were sad to leave!

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The family run hotel is very clean and comfortable. Family made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay sort there were very understanding and caring. Hope to get back in the future.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. Although the hotel does not serve evening meals, they were helpful in sharing other places to eat. The bar facilities were good and prices were average.
Hans the owner was very informative very friendly and nothing is too much trouble he cooks a lovely breakfast. Rooms are big very clean and bed is comfy.
The house was lovely and spacious & very very clean. The beds are super comfy and the garden is absolutely beautiful with lovely view of the mountains behind. We will definitely be returning!
