The lodge was a fantastic stop off on the journey down from the Highlands! Really easy to find and great comms from the owners. The place itself was immaculate, so clean and fresh!
It was lovely and warm and cosy, well decorated and equipped. The bed was comfy and we slept well!
Honestly wish he had booked more than one night as it was so quiet and relaxing! Just perfect!

Location is perfect, tucked away but still right in the centre of town and all clean and tidy. Communication with the hosts was excellent and everything provided for a comfortable stay. There are books, board games and TV for a night in but we popped into the Turk's Head next door where the locals were very welcoming and dog friendly. If you're cycling in the area there's a massive utility room for secure storage.

Great for a large group of friends to stay. Managed to get all of us round the table. Plenty of hot water and we were warm despite the storm. We had everything we needed there.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. The location was very good. Very clean . Good working wifi . Everything you needed was there.
The water of the shower was nice warm but the amount of water could be better .
A lovely property, well placed for walking along Hadrian’s Wall. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, the food was tasty and the room very clean and comfortable.
The room is exceptional, well presented, well equipped and has everything you need for a stay. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were brilliant. Very clean and modern, comfy bed. They dealt with the arrival and departure of our bags by a transfer company which were left in our room.
The location is brilliant for the local Samson Inn. I would recommend to friends and family and would stay again personally.

We had a very warm welcome and we were pleasanty surprised by the space of this B&B. A beautiful furnished breakfast room and also a livingroom. A wonderful bedroom with a view on the garden and the hills, a very modern bathroom. Everything was new and very clean.Excellent breakfast.
