The apartment was absolutely fantastic with unbeatable views of the South Cornish Coast, English Channel, our local friendly seal and a couple of amazing storms. Our hosts had left us some lovely welcoming gifts, great walks to the headland or own beautiful beach. The Paris Hotel in Coverack village just a short walk and Jamie the landlord, staff and all locals could not have been more hospitable and food great also. Apt 17 is the perfect base for exploring and then recharging your batteries, will definitely return.

I adored the attention to detail. There were some kind gestures; the cream tea we found upon our arrival with top quality jam, the fresh lilies in both rooms that bloomed daily. It was a real comfort to have milk, tea and coffee ready for us to use also. The artwork on the wall was tasteful and inspiring. I also loved the detailed local information pamphlets. There were lovely little well thought out surprises everywhere for example a book on Cornish fish recipes in the drawer. The place was well equipped for rainy days and the location couldn't have been more magical.

Easy check in with key collection from the key box and tonnes of info provided by email beforehand - we loved the home made cookies and provisions on arrival! Great that there are 2 dedicated parking spaces. The cottage is above a cove with a "private" beach (there is no real way to get to it except by foot so it's very quiet). The walk into Coverack takes about 10 mins and is beautiful. It is also a short footpath to the sculpture park which is worth a visit. There is also a private tennis court next to the property and the grounds are really well maintained. Thanks to Charlotte for making our stay so welcoming and homely :)
