Very comfortable, well equipped apartment in central Buxton. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the supermarket, shopping centre and many of Buxton’s famous attractions. We appreciated having secure parking for our car. Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. Personal touches such as the welcome message, packets of biscuits and milk for a cuppa made it all the more special. We highly recommend 2 Brocklehurst Cottages as somewhere to stay when visiting Buxton.

It was spotlessly clean, very well furnished with no clutter but everything you would need was available. Owner messaged with any info we might need or was happy if we needed to ask anything. We were a family of four, all adults (just!) and a dog. The garden is well fenced off so no worries about the dog escaping which is a big thing we have to consider when going away. The view from the front of the house is lovely too.

It is a beautifully decorated cottage with everything you need and some things you hadn’t thought of. While we always take our own fleeces to cover beds and sofas it was particularly welcoming for our well behaved dog who very much appreciated the extra dog towels after walk in the rain. We all enjoyed an evening around the cosy fire in front of a Netflix series.
