As soon as Melanie opened the door we knew we would love this property! Spacious, comfortably furnished on both levels and eclectic items from Melanie’s collection everywhere - from beautiful porcelain to African fertility gods, you could spend a day just looking at everything. But why would you when you are such a beautiful village? Beds are firm, the kitchen has everything you could need and bathrooms good too. Off street parking too. A wonderful place to stay for a few days.

Beautifully restored historic stone house in the center of medieval village of Flavigny. The beds were very comfortable. Perfect set up for us- two families traveling together with small children. The uppermost floor is air-conditioned. The interior courtyard/garden was lovely. The kitchen was well-stocked with all cooking supplies you might want. Steps away from a very good bakery and a famous anise candy factory. The village often smelled of anise, which was magical. The hosts are incredibly kind and thoughtful, making this a wonderful gite. Huge living room with large kitchen area, cool temperature in the living room in August due to stone floor. Very quiet area. Place looks like the photos. Happy to return to this place.
