Mansarde was nicely located in the city center of Diest and easy to find.
We were welcomed friendly and the host even offered to put as many of our bidons in the refrigerator as possible (as we were on a kickbike 🛴 from the Netherlands to Paris we carried five each).
The room was very clean and comfortable. It felt a little as a sleepover at your grandma's house, this is was both a big plus as well as slightly awkward at times.
We could park our kickbikes safely in the host's garage.
Breakfast was nice and varied.
André is the perfect host, nice, considerate, available.
He cooks breakfast for every guest according to their preferences. The house is beautifully furnished, full of light, tidy and very clean. The room is extra comfortable.
If I ever had my own bed and breakfast, that's pretty much how I would want it.
