Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
We had a private room with the communal kitchen next door. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable.
The kitchen was spacious and had everything you needed. Amenities were close to our room and were very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location for exploring the National Park. Friendly and helpful staff. The accommodation was very clean, the room was warm upon entry and the bedding was comfortable. Dining at the Lodge was excellent, especially breakfast. A great choice of beautiful walks around the property.
We (gramdson & I) loved the cottage we had. It was set in a beautiful location. The beds were super comfortable and the place was very clean and tidy. We had a fantastic dinner in the Restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. If I ever get back to Tasmania I will stay here again.
Cosy cottage, well appointed with everything we needed. Very clean and well maintained. It was located within easy walking distance of the Cradle Mountain Shuttle Bus depot and the Information Centre. During our second day in the National Park there was no wind and no clouds - a perfect day for taking in Dove Lake, Lake Lilla and Cradle Mountain.
Practically across the road from the Cradle Mountain visitors centre. A bit dated but very clean. Loved being surrounded by the bush and wildlife. Great having the restaurant on site…pizzas were delicious.
Stayed at woodsmoke cottage. Ideal for a couple. Not large but everything you needed. Fantastic place. Lovely well equipped cosy cabin. Very clean, well presented. Everything you needed. great location, only short walk to shuttle bus. Toiletries excellent, cooking equipment well thought out. No oven but an air fryer and hot plate. Great bed and variety of pillows. Very quiet and private. Cabins very well insulated. we had good weather but I am confident the cabin would be warm even if it was cold.
Great Location - short walk to Visitor/Information Centre. Cabin fully equipped for self catering. Very clean. Both electric and wood heating available. Very helpful Reception staff.
