A lovely apartment in a quiet street. The owners live downstairs and they met us on arrival. They are really lovely people, looking out for every need we may have but in a very discreet way. The apartment was comfortable, clean, well equipped and we loved the large kitchen with the cosy ceramic fireplace. Our only regret is that our German is very limited as it would have been lovely to have proper conversations. There are heated ski boot driers at the property and storage for the skis. The ski bus stop is 3 min walk away and the bus takes approx 12-15 min to the gondola at Sölden. The ski buses are very frequent and although we had a car, the bus was a much more convenient option as we didn't have to jostle for parking place. The ski bus is also free while car parking at the lift station is charged. Vielen Dank für das lustige Spiel und den leckeren Kuchen!

Our hosts were great. Location was great too. Very short drive to the slopes, Solden 10/12 minutes, Hochgurgl/Obergurgl 25 minutes, where we spent most of our time, House was perfect for us, 2 families sharing. The Aqua Dome was only a 5-minute drive from the house - well worth visiting. We really liked Huben itself. Small safe village/town, authentic and friendly. We loved Pepas restaurant and bar (5-minute walk) and Rustica (2-minute walk) was good too (we enjoyed a few drinks at the bar with a few very friendly locals - somehow communicating with a few words of german and their few words of english). Looking forward to going back again sometime.
