This visit was the worst stay I’ve had at The Hampton Inn. Parking lot was as dirty. Trash in bushes & a long sidewalks. Hotel lobby wasn’t the cleanest. Hallway carpets looked soiled & unkempt. My room was below average. The room’s smoke alarm sounded for no reason leaving a permanent flashing light. This caused me to lose sleep & feel tired the entire following day. This is certainly not the Hilton Standard. I’m very disappointed.

The rooms and hall smelled very strong of some type room deodorizer. The smell irrigated my throat and nose. Lots of college students stay at hotel, I believe the deodorizer was used to hide smoking and am very sensitive to smoke. The lobby had some materials stacked on the wall. The most unusual Hampton Inn I ever stayed in. I would never stay there again. I left sick. The staff was very kind in trying to find a room without that strong smell.

This hotel is a disgrace to the Marriott name. Ridiculously expensive, as they take advantage of the fact that it’s move-in week for IU students, but the hotel is an absolute piece of garbage. Popcorn ceilings, old disgusting carpets, musty rooms, bathrooms are in need of massive repair. What a ridiculous place. I will NEVER stay at this property again, so many better places in Bloomington including the Hyatt Place and Hilton Garden Inn for the same $$$.

certainly large rooms, reasonably clean and tidy, but not a Hilton Garden Inn (didn’t know).

The rooms are honestly as good or better than Hyatt Place or Hampton Inn. The value is fantastic. The staff is very friendly.

The Hampton Inn is an exceptional and reasonably priced hotel for Bloomington, IN. My room was clean and modern with, most importantly, a very comfortable bed and pillow. Free parking in a well-lit lot is also a plus. The free breakfast was also good quality with a decent variety of things to east and drink. I will be glad to stay there again.

The location was very convenient to Indiana University which was the object of our visit. Breakfast was quite good and in line with other Hamptons we have stayed in.
