The hub of the famous Whale Route, Hermanus provides a number of opportunities for recreation and relaxation. During your stay at the Auberge Burgundy Boutique Hotel & Spa, you can easily visit the popular local restaurants, the craft market, boutiques, art galleries and quaint shopping malls. The beach is also just 50 metres away, offering a variety of water-sports and nature tours. The service is exceptional! nothing was too much trouble and the team went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The front desk arranged dinner bookings for us. Breakfast is included the luxury of an a la carte menu, the coffee, pasties and cooked breakfast prepared and served professionally. The spa treatment (couples massage) is out of this world - again one of the best we’ve experienced. Overall this was the best place we’ve stayed in, in Hermanus.

Located in Hermanus and only 27 km from Mt Hebron Nature Reserve, Ridge House provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Ridge house is an absolute gem with stunning views. The hot tub and bbq area is absolutely stunning to capture the sunset or sunrise with your favorite drink or meal. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful making sure your room is perfect. We had the best start to our honeymoon!

Nikki and Stefan were very kind and welcoming. the room is big, comfortable, clean and beautiful 🤩 Stefan helped us and explained to us where we should go and what the best way to get to Cape Town. definitely recommended!

Elizabeth House is situated in the Sandbaai district of Hermanus, 1.3 km from Sandbaai Beach, 2.1 km from Onrus Beach and 25 km from Mt Hebron Nature Reserve. This guest house features free private parking and a shared kitchen. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Sharon was fabulous and so warm throughout our stay. She helped up book activities in Hermanus and then on the way to our next stop in Caledon. The rooms are spacious,. comfortable and warm. The kitchens were great to be able to cook food when we felt like it. Our washing was done for a very reasonable price and the accommodation felt very secure and safe.
