The room was probably the cleanest I've ever seen in Vietnam, and all facilities worked really well. I mean even small things like you can press the AC power button only once without pointing it super precisely, and it already works, or the fridge is actually clean and doesn't smell at all, nor does the bathroom sink, things like that.
The location is pretty good I think, walking distance from the old quarter (close to the temple of literature), so it's very central location, but also very quiet since it's in a small alley.
The host was very nice too
I think this price for such a quality was an extremely good deal!

Great place, doesnt look like much from the outside, the rooms like back in a european-style inner courtyard and are great. Bare in mind, its not a hotel, its a home-stay and they'll send you codes to get in the door and to get your room key. Great location in the heart of the old quarter.

Host : Mr. Tien is the most nice person I met during my trip. He is always at the lobby or one message away to answer my questions about bus tickets, restaurant recommendations and he even made sure I got the best Ninh Binh day trip. Hanoi Boutique House is a great place, great location and great value for your money. WiFi was okay. Located in the wet market which is a bonus because you can buy fresh fruits. Room was clean, Shower was okay. Coffee and tea available at the lobby.
Great location, short walk from the Hanoi train street. It is in a quiet residential area. The apartment was modern, spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. It had all the modern amenities to make you feel at home. Washing machine, fridge freezer, tap with filtered water, cable tv etc. We loved the space and didn't want to leave. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to Mr Hieu and Ms Phuc for a wonderful stay.
Great hosts, helped with eveything, very responsive. Big modern apartment with everything you need: bathtub, comfy big bed, big dresser, 2 heaters/ a/c, washing machine/dryer, detergent, netflix,...quiet surroundings but also many options to eat 1 min away. 20 min by foot to old quater or ~2€ for a grab. we stayed 3 times and would do so again
It 's quiet and outside of the old city center, there are a lot of local markets and restaurants around which makes you feel like a local! If you prefer walking and exploring the local 's lifestyle, then this is your place! Also, the host is very helpful, suggesting a variety of places close to the property.
This is a wonderful little guesthouse just outside of the city centre. The hosts were welcoming and communicated clearly before I got there, and the room itself was comfortable.
Great location, very close to the lake and for Hanoi city centre very calm. The room was clean and spacious with a very nice bathroom. The host is really kind, she showed us everything in the room, gave us 5l of drinking water, made a delicious breakfast for us in the morning and we could also leave our luggage there and pick it up later in the afternoon.
Very clean and spacious, no insects and very quiet. It was cold in Hanoi at that time but the a/c warmed the room perfectly. The host organized a tour to Halong Bay cheaper than in other sites, it was incredible cruise, the best in my life. Internet was OK. There were noises from the neighbors but that is not the fault of the hotel, moreover, we managed to sleep well :))

Great location in the old quarter. Flawless English at the desk a great help booking train or tour tickets. Clean. Good bed. Hot water. Pay the extra five bucks and get a beautiful airy balcony room. The cheaper rooms at the back are maybe quieter but no windows so a bit closed in feeling for me. And who comes to the old quarter for a quiet life?
