There are also turist attractions : close by mountain tracks and family places like Castelul de Lut, Povestea calendarului , Biserica Cisterciana. Anything for everyone.

Nice, quiet place in the mountains. We visited in February during off season, so we were the only guest in the hotel and maybe even in the whole area which was so peaceful. Room was great, host super kind (doesnt speak English but that was not needed). We even got coffee offered in the morning during check-out. He also has two wonderful kind dogs that will welcome you with open arms.
This is a great Guesthouse for before or after the Transfagarasan Road.. Our room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Bathroom is great with a real shower! Use of the shared kitchen is a plus. The owner shares his coffee beans with you which we really appreciate. Wifi is good, there is air-conditioning but we didn't need. There's plenty of parking, the area is very quiet

Big and bright appartment in city centre, containing 1 big and 1 smaller bedroom, 2 bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. Host was very friendly, offering some local recommendations.

Great location close to Balea lake, very quiet and clean place. Hosts are really nice couple always willing to help with local tips. Parking in front of the place and great clean kitchen you can use with everything you need (freezer, etc)
