The view is stunning. The breakfast was delicious and well served with many fresh fruits and variety of cheese. The garden was with pool. The room was very comfy and clean. Self check in was possible. The staff was very kind.

Everything was very clean and the owners were so nice. The kitchen was a great place for cooking with all the utilities and even provided some fresh food everyday. We had a really great experience staying here.

At the guest house, every unit includes bed linen and towels. The owner was very nice and friendly. The view was stunning. I definitely recommend it.

Catia met us and helped with parking, showed the house and made us feel as at home. The house has a charming garden with great view and places for the rest and breakfast, everything was fresh and clean and made for your comfortable staying. Catia is great host and her house is the place where you want to return as soon as possible.

Set in Câmara de Lobos, 700 metres from Vigário Beach, Casa da Cal - by Casas na Ilha offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The property has sea and pool views, and is 1.3 km from Formosa Beach. The guest house features family rooms. Honestly at first, I was a bit taken aback that there is no staff on site and that it was more of a house/Airbnb type than a hotel. However, it turned out to be AMAZING. I made this purchase DAY OF because of a very stressful last minute change to my trip, and this place was just what I needed to unwind and relax. Everything was super clean, and safe, and the facilities were just wonderful. I also talked with the cleaning lady the next day and she was super sweet. There were mango trees dropping fruit on the property, and all in all it was just magical. Free protected parking and everything. I felt completely safe there. There’s also a grocery store like a 5 min walk away if you want to go pick things up to cook (as well as many eateries).

When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. Spacious, clean apartment with a large terrace. Well furnished and equipped with anything you may need for a short or long stay. Centrally located, across the street from a food market, with bakery, restaurants, cafes and shops (including a supermarket) in close vicinity. Within a short walk to the beach/promenade. Despite the central/busy location it was not noisy (other than the usual daytime hustle and bustle) and felt safe both during the day and in the evenings/at night. Highly recommended.

When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. This property and the accommodations are excellent. Very close access (by car) to levada walks and Fanal forest areas. Levada Nova da Calheta can be walked both directions right from the property. We would definitely book again.

This property features 1 bathroom equipped with a shower. We stayed here for 4 nights. Wonderfull place with a wonderfull host. On arrival to the town Magna text us to see if we had arrived. After we climbed a hill towards the property we had an issue with Google Maps. Then Magna arrived in her car and explained which steps to take, she then drove us to the accommodation. Great room with amazing views. The sea and the mountains. The accomodation was perfect for us, great comfy bed, fab shower. We didn't use a car so the walk up and down can be quite tough for some. The town has some great sites, cliffs on the main street, two amazing sea pools, lovely beach with incredible views. The town van be very busy with passing through tourism. People driving around the island. We recommend the town for a few days, some decent walks along the old roads .before the tunnels were constructed. Some of the local cafes were excellent and we also ate at property as there was a small fridge we could use. Also a kettle and plates and cutlery. On day of leaving we were going to take the bus to Sao Vicente but Magna said she was heading our way. We recommend this accommodation and will return. Cheers 😁😁

Featuring pool with a view and views of sea, Guesthouse-TheView is a recently renovated guest house set in Ribeira Brava, 2.8 km from Ribeira Brava Beach. The property features mountain and lake views, and is 8.8 km from Girao Cape. The accommodation offers a lift, luggage storage space and organising tours for guests. Booked on short notice, no problems - the key was ready at our arrival! And what a view!!! High up on a mountain side overlooking the valley and ocean towards the east, making you setting the alarm clock early the next morning so you won't miss the sunrise! And the breakfast! Friendly and welcoming staff and eating as much as you can - nothing left to wish for! The host, Dieter, welcomed everyone personally at breakfast and we had a nice chat about this marvelous place.
