The pool, the barbecue, the lovely host, and we were also extended the option to stay one more day, and I really wish we could (the next property was already booked). Everything was perfect, would love to stay again if I'm ever around.

Everything in place as well as exceptionally heart warming breakfast choices with tasty home made bread . The shower is hot and the bathroom is spacious and warm. This place is the best we could ask for . The garden is so pretty and the flowers and plants are so harmoniously cultivated, we took many pictures , and we have already recommended this place to some of our friends if they ever want to visit New Zealand. We are so lucky to have stayed at Bridgehaven Guesthouse and we didn’t want to leave .

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We love our stay here. The room is spacious and comforatable, and it is really close to Cathedral Cove. The host is really nice. She gave us a lot of useful instructions for how to get to Cathedral Cove (because the car park is closed in summer) and even prepared a shovel for us in case we would like to visit hot water beach. Very nice experience.

On arrival you will immediately know that you made a good choice It is a perfect choice for staying in rather than going out to find a restaurant It is worth a stop at the local butcher and market on the way Our afternoon wine on the deck and early evening BBQ looking over Mercury Bay was spectacular followed by a couple of games of pool a good Netflix drama and a comfortable bed. It couldn’t have been much better

The guest house features family rooms. Always clean, tidy, comfortable bed, beautiful outlook to garden, breakfast room supplied with basically everything you want, and quiet (no street noise).

Built in 1977, The Nunnery is located in central Te Aroha and offers a guest lounge and a shared patio with BBQ facilities. It is a 2-minute walk from the Te Aroha Mineral Spas. All rooms include bed linen, towels and wash basins.

Guests can relax in the communal lounge area which offers heating, a TV and comfortable sofas. There is also a shared kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and toaster. Nothing extra that we didn't need. The shared area was very welcoming and had a lot of quality resources for planning ahead and looking up NZ details, plus facilities for making coffee or eating food bought in.
