Freshly baked bread, milk and butter in the refrigerator were indicators of the thoughtfulness in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Hosts flexible and very communicative. Exactly the sort of place we were looking for between Auckland and Rotorua. Comfortable beds. Super-clean and tidy. Fresh jumbo eggs and streaky bacon, bread, jams provided for breakfast. Delicious. The best part, though we only met for a few minutes as we departed ( we had arrived late after a flight ), was our host couple, Andrea and Bill. Couldn’t have been more lovely. They were so cheerful, friendly and welcoming.., genuinely interested in our travels and free with tips to make our NZ stay pleasant. Gifted us a rosemary sprig and lemon from their garden as antidote to the hideous air freshener which suffused our rental car. Outstanding folks.

It couldn’t have been much better

The guest house features family rooms. Cute villa situated close to Hamilton and local stores. The kitchen is well maintained and allows you to sip coffee whilst enjoying the beautiful garden. The room was the perfect size for the two of us - warm and cosy.
