Lovely oldie worldy well maintained building, with high ceilings. Elegant decor and lovely elegant host. She was great and so welcoming. We stayed the Luxmore Chalet. It was one of the most satisfying stays we had in New Zealand so far. We really enjoyed the chalet, the arrangements and the great view from almost all windows of the house. Such a quiet and charming place. The host Helen was really friendly, and she even baked a cake since we visited for my wife's birthday and couldn't find a good place to order cake.

Great host and very quiet location
Located in the city centre, much cheaper than hotels in the area, easy to access and very private/quiet. Hosts were accommodating for an early check in which was lovely! Would definitely come back and stay again!

Definitely would stay again. The list of likes is long.... Quiet room, fabulous view, great hosts, great location, easy walking distance to township and restaurants. Would be the cleanest motel we have ever stayed in!
