Flekkefjord
The units at the guest house are equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, a coffee machine, a shower, a hair dryer, a flat-screen TV with streaming services and a PS3. There is also a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen equipped with a microwave, a toaster, and a fridge. At the guest house, all units come with bed linen and towels. This is such an amazing place. It is so serene, so peaceful and at such a wonderful location, right by the water. There are quite some activities to do, like Canoeing, boating, fishing or Sauna (all have different charges) The host is a really friendly man who was super flexible with us checking in late on the day of arrival. We had quite a chit chat with him on the next day. The property is so well maintained. Everything looks so pristine and fresh. Kitchen is well stuffed with good crockery and has goof ameneties. Garden is lush green. And if it rains, you can sit and relax in the room with a glass roof. Just make sure to buy food stuff from Flekkefjord beforehand. It is quite a drive from the main city and the last 4 km are a gravel road, all well maintained. The only part not good about our stay was that it was only 4 days. Should have stayed longer. Will definitely come back and would surely recommend to everyone who seeks peace and calm along with some activities right in the heart of Norwegian nature.
Grimstad

The room was wonderful, bathroom large and spotless, and the kitchen was amazingly well stocked.

Excellent food! Dinner was absolutely perfect,including the service . About 21km away from the main road,driving and feeling like there is nothing around us except the beautiful nature but then we reached this cosy , interesting hotel ! Friendly staff, especially during dinner.

It was very pretty, clean and modern. The kitchen had plenty of cutlery and other things. There were a lot of very nice equipment.

Great location (8mins by foot and with elevator), comfortable facilities and breathtaking views! Beds were very comfy, kitchen well equipt for our needs, bathroom is very spacious as well. There's washing machine and dryer, which was super convenient. Host left some welcome snacks and note, very cute and we felt appreciated!

Great location for what we needed. A cute tiny home that was comfortable and fun. It was quiet. Close to stores but far enough away not to be in the center of town. It was fun watching the chickens around the ward.
Great and very friendly service from all staff we had contact with. Perfect location in the city center and yet with quiet surroundings. Good beds and pillows. Clean rooms that looked new with very little wear and tear. Colourful happy art throughout the hotel. Large and good breakfast selection. Overall very good value for the money.
Booked a night at the guesthouse to see a bit of Norway outside Oslo. It was the best decision! On the outside, the accommodation looks pretty standard, but once you're inside you're transported to a chic, antique style, completely charming getaway spot. The breakfast was simply delicious with a lot of options all served in a quaint dinning room. This place is a gem, especially for the price.
Great location (close to city centre, bus and train, and nextdoor to a supermarket), good room for the cheap price that I paid, and easy check-in and check-out. Booking was also simple. I didn't meet any of the staff, which is why I couldn't rate them. Great stay if you are not expecting much.
