The room was amazing. Very clean, the bathroom was really big with a shower and a bathtub. The view from the room was amazing. The breakfast was delicious. We had an amazing weekend there.

Within an hour, my wife was admitted to the only private hospital in Walvis Bay. What does it all have to do with The Rez? A LOT! Malani went above and beyond what was expected of her. When you go on vacation, you don’t expect anything bad to happen. As we learned, it might. Malani literally saved us. And The Rez? Did I mention the nice location in an upscale residential neighborhood only 500 meters away from the waterfront, nice tasteful décor, a cozy courtyard, spacious rooms, upgraded bathrooms, great breakfast (try Ellen’s omelet), and referrals to carefully selected local vendors.

Christa and her small team were wonderful hosts. this small guest farm is beautifully designed in a lovely tranquil location. ideal for a 1-2 night stopover on the way to the bigger game reserves further North. Stiltz Guest House offers bungalow accommodation built on wooden stilts situated in Swakopmund at the mouth of the Swakop River. The units offer views either of the Atlantic Ocean, the riverbed, sand dunes or of the lagoon. What a spectacular setting. We had a bungalow facing the sea, view was superb. Every comfort and facility provided. Breakfast in a very well appointed central bungalow was delicious with freshly cooked pancakes a real treat. We needed to leave early and the staff came early to provide us with a full breakfast. No restaurant but plenty nearby, we had a delightful meal at a local restaurant within walking distance.
