Its small and cosy restaurant is open for breakfast (which is included in the bungalow rate), lunch and dinner. Wide choice of tasty, simple dishes at very modest prices. A big thank you to Iacopo and Diego who made my holiday on this fantastic island one of the most beautiful memories I will cherish forever thanks to their great helpfulness and kindness! Real value for (little) money, absolutely recommended!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Villa Colibri is a recently renovated guest house located in Nosy Be, 200 metres from Djamanjary Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The guest house has private entrance. Peaceful and quiet beach without big hotels. Very nice and comfortable villa with pleasant sitting spaces and open kitchen. Great views.

Villa Tonga Soa features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Ambaro, a few steps from Ambaro Beach. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Nadia and Bernard are so kind and lovely! The house is beautiful and the room is so comfortable, clean and perfect for the setting. Nadia makes delicious dishes and even catered for my vegan diet. Bernard organized local tours and gives the best advice. They even cared for me when there was a tropical cyclone and I needed to stay another evening. It is like being with family friends, warm and caring (especially with the warm welcomes of Mouffa the sweet family pet!). Highly recommended!

Offering a garden, Les Hibiscus Nosy-Be is set on a hill near Ambondrona and 10 minutes' walk from the beach. Free WiFi is available in public areas.

The accommodation offers ventilated bungalows and rooms. Some of them have a hot tub. Our stay at Les Hibiscus was everything we expected and much more. Our host Solange, warmly welcomed us with refreshing cool fruit juice. Our room was very tastefully furnished, replete with a Krups coffee maker (the capsules are not gratis). The attached and private plunge pool was perfect for taking the edge off the warm afternoons or for a bracing morning 'swim'. The self-catering area was deluxe and had all we needed to make cooked breakfasts or full meals. It's style and class were, like our room, something out of a home and leisure magazine feature. The entire spacious property is immaculately landscaped with solar lights to lead one back from the hill overlooking the sea and Nosy Tanga after watching sunsets in comfortable recliners. The various rooms on the property are all separate and private. Solange was generous with her local knowledge and her staff looked after us very well. There's also a night watchman who let us in and out of the property when we ventured out and back. Les Hibiscus is centrally located and close to a motorcycle rental, a supermarket, the bustling village of Dzamandjar, fifteen minutes stroll from the beach and catching a tuk tuk to places near and far. We can only highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Eastern side of Nosy Be for business or pleasure whether alone, as a couple or in a larger group.

The units include a private bathroom, bathrobes and bed linen. Giannie, the host, was incredible. She took great care of us during our stay and then went above and beyond afterwards. We had mistakenly packed a couple of their towels which she came to collect from the next hotel we stayed at. She organized an airport transfer at a much better rate than our next hotel offered. When our next hotel couldn't arrange a babysitter she found one. And, lastly, when our son left his small suitcase in the taxi that we took to the airport, she arranged to get it back and hold it at Villa Vintana until we returned again. Gracious and cheerful from start to finish. The common areas are limited, but they make the best of them--some board games, games for the kids, TV and lounge area. And they organized tours at a much better rate than other hotels. Food and drink prices were also better value than other restaurants or hotels we went to.

At the guest house, every unit comes with bed linen and towels. we had a very large room right on the beach with a terrace with table and chairs and deck chairs! it was furnished and decorated with lovely African touches! the bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water and a fan! the whole property was kept spotless by the wonderful friendly staff! Patrique and his lovely wife and team were so welcoming and we felt right at home having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea. Patrique was so helpful with local information and any questions you may have. There is a kitchen to use which is well equipped and very clean too! There are a few eating options in the area and you are right in the little village too (but it is very quiet!) We did not want to leave but sometimes you just have to move on! A great budget option! The room was great and spacious and the pool was amazing. We spent many hours enjoying it. The chef, Din (sp?), did a wonderful job cooking lunch and dinner meals for us, and at a reasonable price.
