This guesthouse was a pleasant surprise with a very kind and generous host, home cooked breakfast, free water/tea, very clean amenities and quiet nights in a tastefully decorated old Japanese house. Definitely recommendable!

Modern, clean hotel with larger than average room sizes. Great location 4 minutes walking from Karatsu train station. Directly next to small shopping area and plenty of restaurants. Very convenient place to stay in Karatsu. Hotel has drinks vending machines, a microwave in the common area and a very stylish, light-filled lobby on the 3rd floor to sit and even table space to work on a notebook. Area was still quiet at night.
Lovely guesthouse, very clean, next to the station, comfortable bed, host was very friendly and nice. Everything was perfect 🥰.

Suzi the owner was fantastic, and she made me feel very welcomed and right at home. She was extremely helpful in recommending me good places to visit in the Karatsu area, and guided me on how to get there using public transportation and the bicycles available for use at the hostel! The homestay was in a quaint little area down a quiet street, while being very well located between the train station and the beach. Having tea on the back porch while watching the sunset was very relaxing.
Great location in the center of Arita. Some interesting sites on walking distance, cosy and good Italian restaurant :-) nearby. Free parking in front of the guesthouse. Authentic house, Japanese style lodging and two Western style rooms. Because of Corona, so therefore not to many tourists staying in the area, we had the whole place to ourselves. We had a nice chat with the Dutch owner in the communal living area.
