Of course you can find plenty of different types of accomodation in Wadi Musa, but I was looking for typical local experience that is why I booked this place few kilometres from Wadi Musa and it was really great!! The moment we arrived, we met only nice and cool people, the owner Faesal and his family are really lovely people. We spent a lot of time talking about way of living there, about Jordan in general....and of course we received a lot of tips how to make trip to Petra really unforgettable experience... Little bit about house and room itself....we were 3 guys and everything was OK...3 comfortable separate beds, good shower, brekfast in the morning was really good. For me it was interesting to hear when donkeys outside started to communicate with each other...their communication can be really loud sometimes :-) I can not forget to mention that owner of this place Faesal runs also the shop right in front of Treasury in Petra complex!! It was really great to meet him there again, he offered us cup of coffee which was really cool. Petra is a truly special place to visit. In overal...short visit of Petra Magic Guest House for one night was really great part of our trip and I highly recommend it to other travellers. Thank you Faesal for everything, hopefully I can see you again in future.

The view is breathtaking, best Deal in Dana for us, best guesthouse very good breakfast on the terrace in front of the room with the amazing view to Dana Trail. We highly recomment this place!!

The room is big enough, clean with everything we needed. We remain astonished by kindness of hosts: Saddam, Kalhed and their family solved a problem of our car (not easy problem) allowing us to visit Petra without missing anything we planned. We even suggest to have dinner in this guesthouse, they prepare a delicious traditional dinner. What make an experience unforgettable are people…and that is the case.

Al Khazneh The Treasury is 9.1 km from the guest house, while Petra Church is 11 km from the property. The nearest airport is King Hussein International, 132 km from Moon house, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We have been travelling the world for a year and Moon House has been by far our favourite accommodation. Staying at Moon House is the closest we have felt to having a home in a long time. Mahmoud, his wife and three sons are the kindest, loveliest and most generous family. Firstly, the location is 6km or 10 minutes drive to the Petra entrance and we think this is the best location as it is so peaceful and quiet at the house, but close enough for guests to drive into town for restaurants or to visit Petra. Wadi Musa is rather loud and busy and each night we were so glad to come home to such a peaceful oasis. The room itself is beautiful, extremely clean with very nice furnishings and a very large and comfortable bed with new linen. The room and bathroom are both very large and the seperate sitting area is a great spot to sit and have a coffee. Where you will be staying has a completely seperate entrance so it feels very private. Mahmoud was so attentive to our every need he was amazing. Nothing was a problem and he would very often offer us tea, coffee, sweets, cakes and deserts. His generosity is endless and we could not be more grateful to have such an incredible host. The food his wife Fadia (apologies if that is misspelt!) makes is delicious and we felt very lucky to get the opportunity to try all of her cooking. We cannot fault our stay at Moon House as everything has been thought about by the hosts such as free parking, drinking water cooler in room, hairdryer, toiletries, steam iron, coffee and kettle, snacks and the list goes on. Don’t even bother looking for other accommodation. If you want a friendly, caring and authentic stay look no further and 100% book this. We stayed 3 nights and wish we could have stayed forever. Thank you so much Mahmoud and family especially for the birthday dinner you had for me and the beautiful gift.
