Bathrooms are shared. Very clean, great shared kitchen, bedroom large and comfortable. The staff is amazing especially Monika who helped me pay a parking fine. She went above and beyond being helpful. A really lovely person that helped me and made my stay so nice.

Very well fitted out, great underfloor heating, looking out over the paddocks (we’re Australians and call them paddocks, not fields !). The peacefulness was fantastic The owner was great in giving us advice on what to see and where to go - and not go ! We had dinner there and the meal was excellent, soup and a main (we had the homegrown lamb) and it was like having a home cooked meal could not recommend the place enough

The nearest airport is Húsavík Airport, 51 km from the guest house. it’s a camping but ! one of the best places I have stayed in Iceland extremely clean absolutely calm perfect location you can get an incredible breakfast in a nearest farm guest that’s twice more expensive to stay but you can go there for food definitely recommended

Excellent well-stocked kitchen with at least 2 of everything (oven/stove, sinks, workspaces, cutting boards etc) and plenty of room for. many people to comfortable cook at the same time. Beautiful, big glass dining room looking out over lava rocks. Very welcoming staff. Clear posted rules so the place runs efficiently and well but no micromanaging staff. Also a place in the fridge and shelves outside it for extra food you can leave behind for someone else if you are traveling the next day and can't carry it with you. Very nice private showers!
