Skellys features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Ballymahon. Located around 21 km from Athlone Institute of Technology, the inn with free WiFi is also 21 km away from Athlone Train Station. The inn has family rooms. Pat was amazing and the bartenders were top notch. Stayed on Saint Patrick's Day and had a blast. Room was clean and the bed was soft enough to sleep for ten hours. Breakfast was traditional and delicious. Would recommend to anyone that wants Ireland's hospitality.
Great location 5 mins from Longford, stayed here with friends while doing the Longford Marathon. Lovely setting, quiet and fantastic host who was very welcoming. Thank you, will definitely stay again if in the area.
Amazing guesthouse. The place got recently renovated and it shows, its very clean, very modern and very up to date. The shower is amazing, the room nice and spacious. The host was very kind and cooked us up a wonderful breakfast. Beds are a tad soft, but thats just my personal opinions, my missus didnt have any issues with it. Highly recommend!
The setting was gorgeous! Rooms were spacious and beds were so comfortable! The building itself was so impressive. There were so many options for breakfast and it all tasted so good! Matt was a great host
My second stay here. Wish it was for longer! Hosts Amy + Craig extremely welcoming and go out of their way to maximize your stay. They provide tea, coffee and milk , although it is self-catering. Love the Twix bars too! Location is unique, quiet with excellent views. Never sleep as well as when I am here. I plan to always return here as it an oasis of calm and rest.
This was a real surprise Converted stables absolutely stunning warm and welcoming.Matt is a great host and boy can he deliver a breakfast ! Definitely not to be missed!
It was a beautiful house with a pretty view. Nice and quiet during the night. The rooms were really pretty, clean and well decorated. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were spacious. Everything was spotless and the hosts were very sweet and told us stories of the house history. All in all a very nice experience and I can definitely recommend this to others.

The room is huge and stately. Lovely sized bed and comfortable. Lovely, quiet and set on a working smallholding. The hostess was delightful, insightful and very helpful.
Bed was lovely, big and comfy, beautifully renovated building with character, good quality fixtures, very clean, warm, great communication, quiet, breakfast was perfect. Matt was a great host.
