The hostess Baeta was so warm and welcoming even going the extra mile to recognize my husband's birthday. We had a king room in the Virginia House and it was phenomenal. So nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast at their restaurant and both were great. Parking was very convenient too. Could not have been happier with everything about the Silken Thomas!

The house is extremely charming. Especially the breakfast area in the wintergarden that looks upon the park-like garden is enchanting. Lots of birds singing outside. Jim is a great host, we felt at home at his place. (Not suitable for people with cat allergy.)

Mary our host was so friendly and made us very welcome with coffee and fresh hot scones on arrival. Breakfast was 2nd to none, with fresh fruits and fresh orange juice to start with, the breakfast menu had something for everyone's taste. Bedroom was spotless clean and very spacious, we even had an electric blanket on our bed. Definitely recommend this beautiful farm bed and breakfast.
