There is a fan in the room which provided us with enough comfort to sleep without being too hot. The hosts Yoke and Helmi are a lovely couple who arranged snorkeling trips for us and gave great advice about where to visit on the island. Helmi also sourced us a GoPro for a snorkeling trip. The dining area is set up so guests eat together which was a great way for us to socialise. The food was incredible and possibly the best we have eaten in 5 months of traveling. Every lunch and dinner was different and garnished with fresh vegetables and herbs. The portion sizes were huge which was nice after days out exploring the local reefs. The guesthouse is located overlooking the beach in the main village. Great for watching the sunset and hearing the sea at night. Overall this has been our favourite guesthouse so far in Asia!

Guesthouse Guesthouse The 4 Fish is located in Tongkaina. Just 18 km from Manado and a 10-minute walk from a dive centre. It features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and rooms with views of the valley from the terrace. Free internet and parking are provided. We had an amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the place was super clean. The view was breathtaking, and the pool was a great way to cool off. It's also conveniently close to a supermarket. The vibe was great, with options for tours and taxi drivers available. Overall, it's a fantastic value for the money. Highly recommended!

He goes all out and will not give up until you have seen the animal you're looking for and have taken a picture of it (if that's what you want!). The location is perfect right next to the national park entrance, people super friendly and willing to help out with food, etc. Definitely recommend for your stay in Tangkoko!

The whole experience was great. The lodge is located very close to the national park, within walking distance. The rooms are clean, comfy, large and equipped with AC. The lodge provides guides into the forest. The prices as of March 2024 are 250,000pp for morning tours and 150,000pp for night tours. This doesn't include the 100,000 park fee per person. We were very lucky to be paired with Roy. He spotted things we never would have been able to, he has so much knowledge about the park, the animals and the area, and best of all, he's a cool guy. He's super friendly and easy to talk to, we cannot recommend him enough. For an extra cost the lodge can also provide food. It is so cheap and really incredible cooking. Thank you to all the people that made our stay so much fun!

They have a working AC, cozy bed and clean room. They offer extra bed for a small charge if you want to use the room for 3 persons. Bella, Om Hengky, Om Glen and Tante Meyta are wonderful host. The food is great, it’s mainly seafood, but you can always asks them to provide you something else if reasonable. They have plenty beans-bag offering a nice cozy corner for our afternoon afterdive nap
