They care about nature and that is exactly where I feel the most comfortable too.

Great location, the water was a 10 min walk from the hostel. It is more lively with activities in the evening but the music would normally stop by 11.30pm. There are plenty of locations to relax (in the numerous hammocks, or by the pool). Overall great vibe, good food and would recommend. All the staff friendly, including Romeo.

Great location with peace and quiet by the river. The place is atmospheric, with San Simon by the bar, but more could be done in terms of decorating. They need a woman to sort out their decoration and lightning !
Hostel el Nawal is a lovely, quaint, family-owned place that is isolated in the jungle between lanquin and as semuc champey. it is walking distance to semuc champey and so authentic. stay here if you’re really looking to reconnect with nature and have a great time!
Very welcoming family guesthouse, we got picked up and dropped off at the bus by tuk tuk, the food was really nice here for breakfast and dinner and cheap price. The room was clean and comfortable, and a cute chill out area in the garden
The Hostal lies in a very beautiful place, it is very peaceful and quiet and surrounded by amazing nature. Good Location in you want to visit the national Park. The hosts were super helpful and tried to make our stay here as nice as possible.

Very easy but clean hostel. The staff is amazing. A local family also living in the facilities. The food is good and cheap compared to other hostels around. Do the Semuc Tour here!!! You get the best price and a day full of amazing experiences. David takes you and he is super cool, friendly and helpful.
Located in the middle of the Giungle, calm and quiet. There is a restaurant. No warm water. It is easy to reach Semuc Champey. It is 45minutes by walk but the street is very bumpy, we suggest to go hitch-hiking. There are jeeps that pass close to the Hostel
