This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The guest house features family rooms. Excellent in every respect. I stayed in Room 203. Well-appointed room with attractive outdoor seating areas on the balcony in front of the room and also downstairs for breakfast. Excellent breakfast. The establishment is run by a lovely family who live nearby. Very good wifi, with router immediately outside the room - the signal may drop out occasionally, but this is a common situation in these parts. There is a very good restaurant nearby in the village. There is a shop and pizza place down the hill in Laimos. For those, like me, without their own transport, note that there are currently no buses between Florina and Agios Germanos; taxis currently cost 60 or 70 euros, probably 10 euros less when the most direct route is available. The bus may run again shortly: if so, on Wednesdays (market day). Taxis may be cheaper between Kastoria and Agios Germanos - perhaps as low as 30 euros, though it may be slightly higher. If you have your own transport or can carry the extra weight, it may be worth bringing food for times outside of breakfast and meals at the village restaurant. I enjoyed two excellent walks: one to Agios Archillios (about 25 km, including walking around the peninsula) and one up to two lookout points above the village (on a wide path that begins left at the front gate to the guest house).

The stone-built Guesthouse Kontogianni - Materka is located in the scenic village of Nymfaio on an altitude of 1350 metres. It offers traditionally decorated, self-catered accommodation with fireplace or wood stove, free Wi-Fi and views of Mount Vitsi or the garden. The house is large and very well organized. Breakfast at the courtyard was perfect! Maria and her daughter were cordial and helpful. They spoiled us with great products for breakfast and also tasty liqueur. Everything was replenished every day. Also their big dog Alitis is amazing!

Situated in Nymfaio and only 36 km from Byzantine Museum of Kastoria, Linouria features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden and city views, and is 39 km from Kastoria Lake. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. We loved everything!! The room was one of 4-5 rooms on traditional stone and wood house. The temperature of the room was perfect. You will never feel cold even if it's freezing cold outside. There was always hot water. The bed was comfortable. The location is great, Nymfaio is not that big village. You can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at their coffee-restaurant located next to the rooms, where you can relax next to the fireplace. The staff is freindly and always helpful. Important note: the map will guide you at Diporto restaurant (mentioned above). Get in and ask then for the room you booked.

Continental breakfast is served in the dining area. Right next to the property there is a shop with traditional products. The Host was amazing, just super chilled and a genuinely nice person who prepared us a dinner when we arrived late (9pm) and made me hot cup of mountain tea for my flu. Food was amazing in her restaurant, fresh ingredients and so tasty. Definitely stay again if I come back
